Stormwater Management Plan

A Stormwater Management (SWM) Plan has been completed for the City of Revelstoke, which includes; characterization of the study area, the assessment and analysis of existing stormwater management and drainage conditions, and consideration of the effects of climate change on the performance of the existing system. A prioritized capital upgrade plan has been developed based on the findings of the analysis, including cost estimates for the recommended infrastructure upgrade projects, as well as operations and maintenance activities, monitoring, and survey works associated with City storm drainage infrastructure – and the recommended projects have been consolidated into a proposed 10-year implementation schedule.

This report represents the final study document, incorporating comments received from the City on previous drafts of the report issued throughout the study process. An overview of the study and the final draft of recommendations were presented for public feedback at the Revelstoke Community Centre on the evening of October 6th, 2016, but no specific comments were received.
