The City of Revelstoke Animal Control and Licensing Bylaw sets out general animal and backyard chicken regulations, dog license requirements, municipal pound/shelter functions, kennel restrictions, and overall enforcement of the bylaw. 

Lost and Found Pets 

To report a lost or found dog, please contact Bylaw Enforcement at bylawenforcement@revelstoke.

To report a lost or found cat contact the Revelstoke District Humane Society at (250) 837-8578.

Bear Aware 

To report a bear sighting, please call the RAPP hotline at 1-877-952-7277. They will share the information with the relevant people, such as the local conservation officer, and the Bear Aware team. Reporting a bear sighting to RAPP does not mean that the bear will be harmed.
