On behalf of the men and women of the Revelstoke Fire Rescue Services, welcome to our webpages, and thank you for taking time to visit. As fire chief of Revelstoke Fire Rescue Services, I am committed to providing the most effective, efficient, cost-effective, and fiscally minded fire protection for our community, which is supported by over 39 firefighters and staff. Our services are committed to fighting fires, saving lives, providing first responder services, highway rescue, educating the public, and protecting the environment.


Revelstoke Fire Rescue Services is a composite department, which draws upon the multitude of talents and abilities provided by our personnel throughout the community. The firefighters of this department continually improve, ensuring that our community receives effective, efficient, safe, and professional fire protection. Much time is dedicated to training, planning, and preparation in order to ensure that our response to assist the citizens of Revelstoke exceeds expectations. As the fire chief, I am extremely proud to serve the firefighters as well as the community. This group of individuals demonstrates a deep commitment to the community every time the alarm sounds.

Our goal is to minimize the loss of life and property threatened by the hazards of fire, medical, and rescue emergencies and disaster situations in our community. We accomplish these goals through a proactive approach to fire protection, medical and rescue operations, ongoing training and community education programs, procurement of quality equipment, and a dedicated team environment.
