REMINDER: Garbage Pick Up Changes!
Please be advised that effective Wednesday, May 13th, garbage pick up for the yellow highlighted properties in the provided map will take place in the alley. This is due to the roundabout construction and garbage operators having difficulty accessing certain homes for pick up from curbside at this time.
Please ensure that your garbage is in the alley for 7 AM.

**NEW** Commercial Vehicle Detour - 4th/Townley/Victoria Roundabout
The City of Revelstoke is pleased to announce a new detour for commercial vehicles. This detour route has been created with collaboration with Downie Timber Ltd. to reduce large truck traffic using the roundabout detours. Downie Timber Ltd. bound trucks will use the eastern access and depart using Centennial Park/Campbell, to third street to Pearson and north bound Victoria, leaving Revelstoke via the western access to Hwy 1.
In order to ensure traffic safety through the truck detour, temporary on-street parking restrictions have been put in place. Watch for new signage on Pearson Avenue, 3rd Street and Campbell Avenue.

Construction of the #TownleyRoundly is scheduled to mobilize this week! The contractor, Eagle Rock Construction has advised that detours around the construction site will be in effect on Thursday, April 30th at 7:00 am.
Detours around the roundabout construction site will be in effect Thursday, April 30th, 2020 in the morning at 7:00 am.
Vehicles and pedestrians should avoid the construction site whenever possible and watch for crews and equipment especially the dump trucks travelling to and from the job site and logging trucks travelling through residential areas.
Parking restrictions will apply in some areas around the construction site including portions of the detour routes. Detours are shown on the attached photo, speed limits are 30km/h in the detour zones – Please Slow Down!
Note that detours could change from time to time so please watch for signage and flag personnel.
