  7. Luna Art Festival

    September 30, 2017, 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM @ Downtown Revelstoke

LUNA is a new festival which brings art and energy to the streets of Revelstoke. Opening on September 30th from 6 pm until Midnight, the festival will run until October 7th, 2017. 25 local and visiting artists have been selected through a jury process to create unique art installations throughout the city. Designed and planned largely by volunteers, Luna is a completely free event showcasing and celebrating the visual and performing arts scene in Revelstoke. The free LUNA program guide will illustrate the installation locations with a map and provide a synopsis of each art piece. On opening night visitors have 6 hours to discover 25 art installations selectively placed within the downtown core, enhanced with music, food, performances, and business events which will run concurrently during the evening. Installations may appear in shop windows, empty spaces, alleyways and unexpected places as the familiar is transformed into something new and fantastic.
