October 24, 2016 - Big Eddy Water System - Boil Water Advisory Cancelled 

Effective October 24, 2016, the City of Revelstoke in consultation with Interior Health lift the Boil Water Advisory for all customers on the Big Eddy Water System.

Interior Health issued the advisory on a proactive precautionary basis. Further sampling of the Big Eddy water system showed no contamination. The City thanks Big Eddy Water System users for their patience during the advisory.

August 24, 2016 - Garbage Regulation Enforcement Increased in Revelstoke


Over the past month the City of Revelstoke has stepped up its bylaw enforcement in an effort to reduce the number of human wildlife conflicts.

Bylaw enforcement in the City of Revelstoke is usually initiated by citizen complaints, however in light of the recent bear euthanizations the City has increased patrols and is proactively enforcing regulations in areas where bears have been reported.

July 28, 2016 - Council Awards Gateway Roundabout Upgrades to Local Contractor


City Council passed a resolution to award the Gateway Roundabout Upgrades Contract to local contractor Speers Construction. Construction of the roundabout on Wright Street is expected to begin in August 2016, with the remainder of the project and roundabout landscaping to be completed by summer 2017.

The Centre is located at 4177 Westside Road in Revelstoke.

The City of Revelstoke, has received a contribution from the 2016 Gas Tax Strategic Priorities Fund of $32,500 for asset management planning.
