Advanced Voting Opportunities for the City of Revelstoke Local General Election are scheduled for Wednesday, October 10, 2018 and Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 in the McPherson Room at the City of Revelstoke Community Centre located at 600 Campbell Avenue from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.

General Voting Day for the City of Revelstoke Local General Election is Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the City of Revelstoke Community Centre located at 600 Campbell Avenue from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.

Some of the ways you can prepare are:

  • Attend Council meetings to learn about priority issues/projects and observe what being on a council might be like;
  • Look at the City of Revelstoke’s key planning documents and reports;
  • Get to know key groups in the community to understand the diversity of interests in our area;
  • Research the internet for information about local governments and basic facts about the local government system in BC.

Public Notice is given to the electors of the City of Revelstoke that nominations for the offices of:

(1) Mayor, (6) Councillors, and (5) School Trustees

will be received by the Chief Election Officer in accordance to dates listed below.
