The Revelstoke Child Care Society is a non-profit organization celebrating 30 years of service to the community! RCCS works to provide parents with information about, and access to, quality early learning and child care choices. Support is provided to child care providers through training, support, education and resources.
The Revelstoke Child Care Society is located at the Neighbourhood Learning Centre (NLC) at Begbie View Elementary School, 1001 Mackenzie Avenue.
The Child Care Society Programs at the Early Years Centre include the:
- Child Care Resource and Referral Program
- Early Learning Lending Library
- Corner Stones Child Care Centre offers Infant and Toddler care, Group 3 to 5 year care,and School Age care
Child Care Resource and Referral Program (CCRR)
FREE child care referrals to: Registered License Not Required Family Child Care, Licensed Family Child Care, Licensed In Home Multi Aged Family Child Care, Licensed Group Child Care and Preschool
- Provides parents with information about quality child care choices and early childhood development
- Provides information about Child Care Subsidy and in person support for Child Care Subsidy
- Supports child care providers through training opportunities
- An early learning and child care newsletter
- Offers child care providers’ and parent’s workshops and educational opportunities.
- Early Learning Lending Library
- Early Childhood events and activities
The Revelstoke Child Care Resource and Referral Program supports registered care providers with:
- Financial start up assistance for Registered License Not Required Child Care
- Increased subsidy rates for qualified parents attending your facility
- Professional development and networking opportunities
- Consultant support and a professional child care community
- Home support visits as required
- Photocopying, laminating and craft supplies (minimum fees apply)
- Parent Referrals (upon completion of program standards)
